  • ANTI-OPPRESSION 101

Over the course of three workshops, participants will build an in-depth understanding of how oppression functions today, including how it shows up in our own beliefs, as well as within workplace practices and dynamics. Participants will engage in reflective activities with consideration for how oppression impacts their own lives, while building practical skills for the workplace.

    3-Part series includes:

    • Systems of Oppression

    • Owning Our Worldviews

    • Workplace Interventions

  • GENDER IDENTITY + INCLUSION

This series supports organizations in learning about gender through a lens of trans and non binary inclusion. Through interactive and reflective exercises, participants are supported to learn about the origins of the gender binary, as well as attitudes and beliefs that discriminate against trans and non-binary people. Throughout these workshops, participants will learn how to apply a celebratory and inclusive lens to gender in the workplace.

    The series includes:

    • Gender 101: What’s the Gender Binary?

    • Gender 102: Context of Discrimination

    • For staff: Gender 103: Practicing Gender Celebratory Workplace

    • For Management: Gender 104: Applying Inclusion

  • COLONIAL HARMS + WORLDVIEWS

This series supports organizations to build knowledge about the colonial context of their work. Through learning accurate history and self reflection, participants are supported to engage in a framework of responsibility to Indigenous peoples and lands. Depending on your organizational context we may suggest multiple sessions for each topic.

    3-Part series includes:

    • Colonial Harms: Colonial History, Structures, and Ongoing Impact

    • Colonial Worldviews: What we’ve Inherited in our Workplaces and ourselves

    • From Acknowledgement to Action: Land Acknowledgments and Organizational Commitments for Reconciliation/restitution

  • ANTI-RACISM 101

Understanding and Interrupting Racism at Work

In this two-part workshop participants will build an understanding of racism, how it operates on 4 levels (interpersonal, institutional, cultural, and internalized), and how it manifests in the workplace. Participants will then build specific tools to identify and interrupt racism that they witness in various scenarios.

During the session particular care and attention is put into creating a space for multi-racial groups of participants to explore topics that are challenging and have different impacts on different people, depending on your identity and experiences.

  • NEURODIVERSE LEADERSHIP 101

Throughout this facilitation, managers and people leaders will be introduced to neurodiversity and the social model of disability justice. Participants will learn about different access and accommodations that they can implement to support a neurodiverse team.

This facilitation was developed by Chantoy Williams and Marisa Tran as neurodivergent EDI professionals looking for ways to make workplaces safer and more accessible for people like them.

    The workshop will answer:

    • What is neurodiversity?

    • What can disclosing a disability and accommodations look like?

    • What management techniques can you implement for all staff that have neurodivergent access needs?

    • How can you remove barriers that are preventing neurodivergent staff from performing at their best?
